My approach to abstraction is non ideological. I choose to use the varied language of abstraction in painting and sculpture to communicate responses to experiences in my life. I work within the moment, attentive to my immediate environment.

My art varies from crisp geometrical abstraction to textural mark making. I am interested in a dichotomy between controlled processes and experimentation. This approach to abstraction gives me the freedom and language to express my emotive responses to the world in a contemporary way.
